Registration Fees

• *All payment must be made in Japanese
• *10% consumption tax is included.

For Students

Student rate is applicable only to those who have student status at the time of the conference. Students are required to submit a scanned copy (in either jpeg or pdf format) of their student ID or student certificate letter from their supervisors via online registration form. Please be advised that student rate will not be applied for students who have full time job.

Fee for Presenter and Non-Presenter Registration

Registration fee (for ALL categories) does NOT include the paper presentation fee. Presenters are required to pay the paper presentation fee for each paper.
Here are some examples.

<Examples>

Case 1 (Member and presenting two papers):

During the registration process, select “IEEE/ASME Member” in the registration category.
→ Answer “Yes” to the question “Are you a presenter?”
→ Select “2 presentations” for the Paper Presentation Fee and enter the number of each paper.

Case 2 (Non-member student and presenting one paper):

During the registration process, select “Student Non-member” in the registration category.
→ Answer “Yes” to the question “Are you a presenter?”
→ Select “1 presentation” for the Paper Presentation Fee and enter the paper number.

Case 3 (Non-presenter):

During the registration process, select the appropriate category in the registration category.
→ Answer “No” to the question “Are you a presenter?”

Case 4 (Presenting TMech/AIM FS papers over 6 pages):

During the registration process, select the appropriate category in the registration category.
→ Answer “Yes” to the question “Are you a presenter?”
→ Answer “No” to the question “Do you have final manuscripts that exceed 6 pages?”
→ Select the appropriate number of presentation in the “Paper Presentation Fee”.

Extra page Fee for the final manuscript

If a final submission exceeds 6 pages, you must first update the final submission information and then complete payment of the excess page charges through your online registration account.

Payment Method

Payment must be made in Japanese yen, and can be made by Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, AMEX or JCB).

• *For completing the Early Registration, it should be paid in full by June 10, 2022.
• *Payments cannot be made with "cards that are not compatible with 3D Secure 2.0ver" due to the rule change of the international credit card brands, VISA and MasterCard, that became effective on November 5, 2021.
  If your card issuer does not support 3D Secure 2.0ver, you will not be able to make a payment.
  Please contact your card issuer to find out if it is compatible with 3D Secure 2.0ver.

Receipt

It will be downloaded from your online registration account.

Notification e-mail

After you complete online registration, a reply e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address automatically.
If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact the Registration Office.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration, please notify the Registration Office (aim2022-reg@jtbcom.co.jp) in writing.
If your registration was used to upload a paper, poster or student competition, then it can not be cancelled even if the paper were withdrawn.
Refunds will be made if the cancellation of the conference registration occurs by June 10, 2022, with an administration cost of 10,000 JPY.
No refunds can be provided for cancellations after June 11.
All refunds will be made via the credit card used to pay the registration fee within 30 days after the conference.
